Karina has published her first book, but is struggling to start writing her second. Pavlos M., an acclaimed writer who lives in isolation in his home, invites her to move in with him and write their next book together. She accepts. Their cohabitation begins, along with Rat, a cat who never meows. How much do we reveal about our lives when we talk about them? Do we tell our stories to share them or to leave them behind? What is real and what is imaginary in our memories? Pavlos and Karina will create a new story, unlike any other that has ever existed. “When the dead throw parties, the guests always ask me to tell the same story, namely how I died. It’s not surprising that this happens because the way I died is known worldwide. It’s not every day that the Earth swallows people while they are lying down for an afternoon nap, or devours them so that their bodies are never found. But I’m tired of living and reliving my death. I’d really like to share something else with you, something that still warms every cell in my body.
