Lina Rokou was born in 1979 in Athens, but grew up in Corfu. She works as a journalist for popaganda.gr. In 2011 she attended classes in Creative Writing given by the acclaimed author Andreas Mitsou at The National Book Centre of Greece. In 2014 she was awarded the first place in a literary competition run by literature.gr. The End of Hunger is her first novel.
