The narrative follows the tragic story of a woman, mother and queen, who lived on the ashes of conquered Troy and found herself in the need to love what she should normally hate with all her soul.
According to the myth, during the Trojan was, Hector, Andomache’s husband, is killed by Achilles and Astyanax, her son, is thrown over the walls by Neoptolemus who will then take her as his concubine and Hector’s brother as his slave. Her story of suffering and sorrow has no end; her figure symbolizes the suffering but proud Trojan woman.
