Contemporary Athens is characterized by a building type that transformed the Greek capital into a modern metropolis within a few decades in the 20th century: the polykatoikia, a small-scale urban apartment block. Τhe life in these buildings for working class people especially during Greek economic crisis has been the main inspiration of the most famous Greek raper, LEX Thessaloniki-based rapper who manages to capture every Greek dysfunction we prefer not to face.

This graphic novel inspired by the song of the same name by LEX — a narrative dive into the years of the economic crisis. With a pace reminiscent of a music video and visuals that move between realism and abstraction, Dimos unravels the life he lived while he was away from his father.

A piece that represents a whole generation is now turned into a comic.
