Minos Efstathiadis

Minos Efstathiadis (1967-) studied Law in Athens and Hannover. He gave up (probably not soon enough) being a lawyer for windsurfing and writing novels. His play The Meal received the prize for Original Playwright and was shortlisted for the Eurodram international contest in Germany. His novel The second part of the night has been published in German. His novel The Diver was shortlisted for the Athens Prize for Literature and has been published in French together with Kvadi and Chaos plans. In 2019 he participated in the book Fragments: Nouvelles et récits de Grèce published by Buchet Chastel. After its translation into French The Diver figured in the nominations for the prize Violeta Negra-Occitanie and the European Book prize (Prix du livre européen). He lives next to the sea.
