A virtual (since no real data are available) biography of Ahmes the Scribe, author of the so called Rhind Mathematical Papyrus, the first mathematical textbook in history, signed by its author. A historic novel describing the life and scientific activity in Ancient Egypt.
Except for the Rhind Papyrus, containing the name of the author, the name of the Pharaoh reigning when it was written (which permits us to approximately date it) nothing else is known about the scribe Ahmes. This novel is a 100% fictional biography of Ahmes which tries to be compatible with the mathematical content of the papyrus as well as with the everyday life in Egypt of 1650 B.C.
